This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Take ownership of one or multiple Strategic or Global Accounts and advocate for the customer within the organization.
• Nurture assigned accounts, manage the sales process, and ensure accountability for quality and delivery results.
• Maintain a personal revenue/quota target and ensure accuracy in forecasting.
• Oversee multi-level client relationships, support personnel, vendors, indirect customers, and adhere to jurisdictional rules, licensing, and compliance.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for expansion, renewal, and cross-selling.
• Manage the sales process from opportunity identification through contracting, including proposals and pricing within authorized limits.
• Supervise the transition into design, installation, and maintenance phases.
• Facilitate installation and service through Systems Technicians and technical personnel.
• Track delivery performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and client expectations.
• Directly supervise account-team personnel, establish performance expectations, and provide coaching and guidance.
• Suggest staffing and structural adjustments as accounts evolve.
• Act as the primary escalation point for client, delivery, or internal issues.
• Escalate matters beyond your authority to the VP, Global & Strategic Accounts.
• Collaborate with fellow Strategic Business Managers and dedicated technical delivery teams.
• Report directly to the Director or VP, Global & Strategic Accounts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and experience, along with significant sales or service management experience.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic/enterprise account management, service, or sales leadership with a proven record of meeting quota.
• Experience in managing multi-site client relationships, with a preference for 20+ locations.
• Background in directly managing a multi-disciplinary team.
• Preferred experience in systems integration, security, or telecommunications industries.
• Familiarity with CRM/ERP and project/service management systems is advantageous.
• A valid Driver's License is required.
• Willingness to travel to client locations as necessary.
• Ability to telecommute or work remotely 100% of the time.
