Strategic Analytics and Planning Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and oversee demand forecasting models for annual planning and continuous re-forecasting cycles for eCommerce enterprises.

• Initiate planning and forecasting for strategic collaborators and core business performance across various channels.

• Compile weekly business reviews and Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), delivering performance analysis, scenarios, and recommendations to leadership.

• Evaluate business performance drivers and forecast discrepancies, offering root-cause analysis.

• Direct recurring performance reporting and conduct ad hoc analyses.

• Model and assess promotional strategies, considering depth, timing, targeting, lift, cannibalization, and margin impact.

• Develop a reusable framework for assessing future promotional scenarios.

• Manage competitive and market intelligence, integrating insights into promotional and product strategies.

• Serve as the definitive source for business definitions and metrics across Registry, WWS, and Paper.

• Collaborate on cross-functional analytics initiatives and predictive models that support revenue optimization.

• Assist in market sizing, competitive analysis, and investment ROI modeling.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in Business Analytics, Strategic Planning, or Quantitative Finance.

• Proficient in forecasting methodologies and statistical analysis, including time-series, regression, and causal modeling.

• Strong understanding of retail mathematics and business performance drivers.

• Advanced skills in Excel.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguous datasets and constructing scalable analytical frameworks.

• Proven ability to influence business strategy through data-driven insights.

• Capability to balance strategic thinking with meticulous execution.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders regarding performance and actions.

• Proactive and collaborative mindset with an emphasis on impact and execution.

• Experience using AI to create dashboards and interconnected storytelling models (preferred).
