This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead enterprise-level growth by managing relationships with national carrier agencies and strategic national accounts, encompassing digital agencies, carrier agencies, brokers, and large-scale agencies.
• Oversee the entire partnership lifecycle from onboarding to annual business planning and goal setting.
• Propel multi-year portfolio growth, profitability, retention, and deliver a top-tier agent experience.
• Engage in cross-functional execution involving API integration, Funnel Optimization, Underwriting, Product, Marketing, and Experience teams.
• Manage the complete lifecycle for national carrier agency relationships and national digital agencies.
• Direct cross-functional projects aimed at eliminating obstacles, enhancing quoting and placement efficiency, and reinforcing Mercury’s value proposition.
• Act as the escalation point for partnership issues related to assigned strategic accounts.
• Maintain the brand's integrity, compliance, and the long-term health of partnerships.
• Implement multi-year growth strategies with specific targets for premium, product mix, retention, and profitability.
• Oversee the P&L for managed accounts within the designated territory.
• Lead negotiations with organizations valued in the millions and billions, including C-suite stakeholders.
• Organize quarterly business reviews with partner executives to align on objectives, key performance indicators, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Enhance speed-to-bind, visibility in discounts and packaging, and underwriting responsiveness.
• Promote the adoption of digital integrations and key programs to boost partner throughput.
• Collaborate with Product, Underwriting, and Pricing teams to strengthen Mercury’s competitive edge.
• Provide market insights to shape roadmap and segmentation strategies.
• Analyze territory forecasts and the health of the prospect pipeline.
• Establish leading indicators such as quote volume, hit ratio, bundle rate, and premium per policy.
• Execute remediation strategies and set up governance for national accounts.
• Ensure compliance with policies, contractual commitments, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain reporting accuracy and processes that are auditable.

• Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
• CPCU, CIC, or an advanced degree completion is preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years in P&C insurance distribution, managing carrier strategic accounts, or enterprise channel leadership with demonstrable growth and profitability results, or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record of fostering executive relationships with national brokers, leading independents, and digital distributors.
• Experience in leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong understanding of sales economics and levers, including segmentation, product mix, underwriting responsiveness, incentives, and account management.
• Outstanding communication, ability to influence without direct authority, and change leadership capabilities.
• Executive presence for leading negotiations with multi-million/billion dollar organizations and proficiency in complex C-suite discussions.
• Analytical skills and capabilities to identify growth and profit opportunities with strategic accounts.
• Strong executive communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
• Familiarity with digital integration is essential.
• Ability to adhere to Mercury’s policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
• Capability to work remotely from anywhere in the United States for most roles.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25–45% to partner locations, events, and internal hubs.
