This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Drive and surpass regional sales targets by engaging with the highest-value gastroenterology customers.
• Provide comprehensive, clinically-oriented interactions with gastroenterologists, advanced practice providers, and office personnel.
• Present new treatment alternatives and address any clinical inquiries or concerns.
• Evaluate regional market conditions, identify access opportunities, and monitor competitive trends.
• Enhance pull-through by coordinating strategies with Territory Sales Representatives and office staff.
• Collaborate with multiple Territory Sales Representatives to improve customer coverage and prescribing depth.
• Assist in onboarding new hires and support the development of field skills.
• Lead workshops and capability sessions at both regional and national meetings.
• Contribute to strategic business planning within the region alongside the Regional Sales Manager.
• Work closely with Marketing, Training, Sales Operations, and other commercial teams.
• Effectively utilize CRM systems, manage expenses, and adhere to company and regulatory standards.
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 5 years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience for external candidates.
• Internal candidates with a demonstrated history of exceptional performance may be considered with fewer years of experience.
• Consistent accomplishment of sales targets with formal recognition, such as top rankings, awards, President’s Club, or similar accolades.
• Proven success in launching new products and fostering adoption in competitive markets.
• Advanced analytical skills and business acumen.
• Capacity to cultivate and maintain professional relationships with gastroenterologists, advanced practice providers, and key office staff in both live and virtual environments.
• Strong computer and digital proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint), Veeva Engage, Teams, Zoom, and other pertinent platforms.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and multiple demands.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the region, including overnight stays, and to participate in national, regional, and corporate meetings as necessary.
• Proven success in an overlay model, collaborating with multiple sales representatives.
• Experience as a peer mentor, field trainer, or facilitator in workshops or meetings.
• Strong facilitation and presentation capabilities.
• Previous experience in gastroenterology or other specialty therapeutic areas.
