This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the launch and continuous growth of Otsuka’s Rare Neurology Franchise.
• Convey intricate clinical data, protocols, screening and treatment pathways, market access policies, therapy access, and patient support information.
• Collaborate with ALS Centers of Excellence, healthcare providers, key opinion leaders, and non-clinical stakeholders.
• Inform stakeholders about disease awareness, screening processes, diagnostic pathways, and the urgency of appropriate treatment.
• Identify, cultivate, and sustain relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
• Facilitate access and patient support program implementation to ensure a positive prescribing experience.
• Engage in conferences, congresses, and scientific meetings.
• Create strategic account plans based on customer feedback, varied data sources, and market intelligence.
• Navigate the stakeholders, account roles, contacts, and workflows within ALS Centers of Excellence.
• Manage treatment logistics, site-of-care considerations, patient onboarding, and barriers to therapy initiation.
• Collaborate with Market Access and Patient Support teams to remove therapy access barriers in a compliant manner.
• Map out local referral networks, patient journeys, referral trends, and obstacles to diagnosis and treatment.
• Partner with Thought Leaders, Medical Science Liaisons, Case Managers, and leadership.
• Utilize Otsuka platforms and technology to document account contacts, Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) processes, and referral patterns.
• Complete training and certifications on brand strategy, disease state, messaging, customer engagement, compliance, and company policies.
• A valid U.S. driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• A Bachelor’s Degree.
• At least 8 years of experience in strategic roles within the Biotech/Pharma commercial field; 10+ years is preferred.
• Experience with new product launches.
• Proficiency in Center of Excellence and IDN Navigation, including KOL engagement.
• Experience with Rare and/or Ultra-Rare Diseases.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional field teams.
• A strong background in rare neurology, CAR-T, or Gene Therapy account management is highly preferred.
• Advanced clinical degrees such as BSN or RN are prioritized but not mandatory.
• A proven history of success, including consistent high rankings (Top 30%) for a minimum of 2+ years, achievement awards, etc.
• Must reside within the assigned region.
• Compliance with relevant HCP and patient engagement policies.
• Willingness to undergo required training and certifications on approved clinical resources, messaging, business acumen, compliance, and Otsuka policies.
