This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and manage a sales pipeline within the Insurance and Wealth sector.
• Create strategic deal models and nurture complex partnerships.
• Discover and leverage new business opportunities to enhance revenue and promote sustainable financial growth.
• Engage with and sway senior leadership at prominent financial institutions.
• Steer negotiations throughout the sales process to secure advantageous terms for multi-year contracts.
• Build relationships with industry specialists for strategic alliances and business growth.
• Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to create comprehensive solutions.
• Work alongside Insurance and Wealth department members at industry events and in joint ventures.
• Provide Empathy's technology-driven, human-centric support solutions to employers, insurers, and financial institutions.
• Over 5 years of successful sales experience in a SaaS organization, ideally selling to financial or insurance institutions.
• At least 3 years of practical business development experience, which includes value creation, contract negotiation, funnel development, and opportunity management.
• Knowledge and experience in applying and utilizing a MEDDIC or MEDDPIC sales methodology.
• Proficient in presenting to and establishing trust with C-level executives at Fortune 500 companies.
• Proven ability to navigate complex, enterprise-level sales cycles that involve multiple stakeholders and average high six-figure ACV agreements.
• Established record of exceeding quotas in fast-paced sales environments.
• General knowledge of U.S. Insurance and Wealth products/services and the claims decision-making process.
• Willingness to travel across the U.S. around 15% of the time.
• Previous experience with Insurance and Wealth organizations is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by Insurance and Wealth agents.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and Gmail.
• Core working hours should align with the time zone of the assigned territory.
