This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Manage a portfolio of strategic and enterprise accounts in Poland.
• Foster new customer acquisition while expanding relationships with existing clients.
• Oversee intricate sales cycles from initial prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing.
• Create and implement structured account plans that align customer priorities with GitLab’s DevSecOps and AI-driven platform.
• Collaborate with pre-sales, customer success, support, and strategic channel partners on evaluations, implementations, and long-term adoption strategies.
• Provide customer insights and product suggestions via GitLab’s public issue tracker and to internal teams.
• Develop and nurture a qualified pipeline through targeted outreach, channel partner initiatives, and existing connections.
• Prepare and sustain reports on activities, pipeline status, and forecasts.
• Contribute to analysis of wins and losses.
• Work alongside Marketing on account-based and regional campaigns.
• Travel to meet clients as part of the Strategic Sales team.
• Proven experience in managing and expanding large, complex accounts, including both new business development and growth within existing customers.
• Background in selling to strategic or enterprise organizations, preferably within the software, developer tools, or similar technology sectors.
• Proficient in conducting a consultative sales process from prospecting and discovery to proposal, negotiation, and closing.
• Demonstrated ability in account planning, forecast management, and coordinating cross-functional resources across pre-sales, post-sales, and support teams.
• Strong communication skills to effectively translate customer needs into actionable feedback for product, marketing, and technical teams.
• Capable of discussing business value with senior stakeholders and aligning solutions with customer objectives and challenges.
• Familiarity with Git, software development tools, or application lifecycle management, along with a willingness to learn GitLab’s platform.
• Alignment with GitLab’s values and openness to applying transferable experiences from diverse industries or backgrounds.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
