Strategic Account Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary relationship manager and strategic advisor for the FEP Mail Order business.

• Be the main point of contact for FEP Mail Order operations and strategic initiatives.

• Establish and nurture trusted relationships with client stakeholders and internal leadership.

• Lead business reviews, operational discussions, and presentations at the executive level.

• Monitor and enhance operational performance, contractual commitments, service guarantees, and client deliverables.

• Collaborate across Mail Operations, Customer Care, Clinical, Finance, Technology, Legal, and Product teams to address complex issues, mitigate risks, and ensure continuous service delivery.

• Convert operational, financial, and performance data into actionable business insights and recommendations for clients.

• Identify opportunities to enhance member experience, operational efficiency, and client value.

• Assist in the implementation of new products, programs, and technology solutions that affect the Mail Order business.

• Oversee audit, compliance, and governance activities that support contractual obligations.

• Propel strategic initiatives from planning through execution while ensuring stakeholder alignment and accountability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in account management, healthcare, PBM, pharmacy operations, or client-facing leadership roles.

• Proven experience in managing large, complex accounts, preferably within government programs, health plans, or Fortune 500 companies.

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority.

• Proficiency in presenting to executive audiences.

• Strong analytical, financial, project management, and problem-solving skills.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication abilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Preferred experience in PBM, Mail Service Pharmacy, or healthcare operations.

• Knowledge of government healthcare programs and regulatory requirements is preferred.

• Experience in managing contractual performance guarantees, audits, and governance programs is preferred.

• Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale operational or strategic initiatives is preferred.
