This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Onboarding of new businesses and tax consulting firms onto the Pennylane platform.

• Ensure that customers quickly derive maximum value from the solution.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients.

• Foster trusting relationships with customers.

• Identify upselling opportunities.

• Assist customers in utilizing Pennylane optimally to achieve their business objectives.

• Conduct regular health checks and reviews.

• Maximize customer satisfaction and retention while preventing churn.

• Collaborate closely with the German sales team and management.

• Optimize processes.

• Provide feedback on product requirements.

• Contribute to the strategic growth of Pennylane in Germany.

• Become a product expert in the German finance and accounting landscape.

• Share knowledge with customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-5 years of professional experience in accounting, account management, or a similar customer-oriented role.

• Ideally, experience in the law firm environment or alternatively in the SaaS or Fintech sector.

• Completed training as a tax clerk, tax specialist, or tax advisor, or a degree in finance.

• Deep understanding of the needs of companies and/or tax consultants regarding finance, billing, and accounting.

• Strong communication skills and empathy.

• Ability to explain complex issues in a simple manner.

• Proactive, solution-oriented hands-on mentality.

• Willingness to shape processes from the ground up in an early-stage team.

• Readiness to travel for onboarding at the Paris HQ and regular client visits within Germany, approximately once a month.

• Business fluent in German (C2 level or native speaker).

• Proficient in English.

• Enthusiasm for a constantly changing work environment.

• High willingness to cooperate.

• Sufficient experience to align daily tasks with business priorities.
