This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Oversee a sales territory that emphasizes customer support, growth, and robust relationships.
• Manage accounts and territories to achieve sustainable business growth aligned with targets and quotas.
• Utilize data and analytics to guide business planning efforts.
• Recognize and address customer financial and clinical priorities and challenges.
• Leverage hospital networks and connections to uncover expansion and conversion opportunities.
• Convince account stakeholders to support proposed solutions and products.
• Cultivate relationships with key clinical and economic stakeholders.
• Enhance the mix of New Product Introductions (NPIs).
• Collaborate with channel, distribution, and kitting partners to develop mutually beneficial strategies and programs.
• Provide in-service education, technical support, and troubleshooting for products.
• Use publications and industry standards to promote product adoption and standardization.
• Drive compliance with contracts and explore standardization opportunities.
• Consult with clinicians on the safe and effective use of products.
• Exhibit proficiency upon completing the sales training program.
• Fulfill business planning requirements and maintain sales call data in Salesforce.com.
• Support conferences, trade shows, and symposiums.
• Utilize a personal vehicle for company-related business and participate in the FAVR program.
• Travel in a field-based role with anticipated overnight travel of up to 50%.
• Bachelor’s Degree or above with four (4) years of sales, clinical, or related experience OR a High School Diploma/GED with six (6) years of sales, clinical, or related experience.
• A current, valid Driver’s License.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Successful completion of a pre-hire motor vehicle record (MVR) review and ongoing compliance with Solventum’s driver policy, insurance requirements, and annual policy acknowledgment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
• May need to obtain licenses, vaccinations, and/or other credentials or qualifications as required by healthcare or third-party facilities.
• Demonstrated history of meeting quotas and targets.
• Previous experience in healthcare sales or clinical roles.
• Proven background in territory management and business planning.
• Demonstrated ability to establish strong customer relationships with key influencers.
• Strong understanding of clinical value drivers across various care areas.
• Knowledge of cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, and asepsis.
• Customer-focused selling and closing skills.
• Experience navigating complex sales cycles.
• Completion of a formal sales training program.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
• Experience with new product introductions and the value analysis process.
• Experience collaborating with distribution channel partners.
• Excellent data analysis and analytical skills.
