Statistical Programmer 1

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assist Emerald Clinical projects by executing statistical programming as instructed by senior management or an Emerald Clinical Statistician.

• Organize, coordinate, implement, test, and document statistical programs for tables, figures, and listings in intricate studies.

• Develop and write specifications for SDTM datasets.

• Generate analysis datasets (derived datasets) and transfer files for both internal and external clients.

• Create quality-control checks for source data and periodically report any data issues.

• Liaise with data management, project management, client statisticians, and client team members regarding requirements and timelines.

• Utilize and advocate for established standards, SOPs, and best practices.

• Complete mandatory training and participate in required training sessions.

• Identify resources and training that support learning and development.

• Ensure quality control of relevant processes and activities.

• Report and escalate risks and issues according to company or project protocols.

• Contribute suggestions for systems, tools, and processes aimed at continuous improvement.

• Share knowledge to enhance organizational learning and development.

• Adhere to Work Health & Safety legislation and organizational procedures.

• Advocate for and contribute to a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree.

• SAS certification completed.

• At least 1 year of experience in statistical programming using SAS.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a CRO environment.

• Proficiency in technology, including SAS.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.

• Strong desire and motivation to learn and develop.

• Excellent teamwork skills and a willingness to assist fellow team members.

• Ability to understand the broader context while paying attention to detail and quality.

• Flexibility and adaptability in response to changing priorities and uncertainty.

• Compliance with applicable regulations, guidelines, SOPs, and project-specific requirements.
