Agentic Engineering Coach – AI, MCP, Kubernetes

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Drive the integration of AI-assisted and agentic software development across various engineering teams.

• Mentor teams and incorporate AI-assisted and agentic methodologies into everyday workflows while ensuring quality, security, and maintainability.

• Collaborate with engineering leadership to enhance delivery through AI tools, automation, and agent orchestration.

• Create prototypes, samples, and reference implementations of effective agentic development strategies.

• Assist engineers in developing techniques for prompting, validation, and review.

• Evaluate the effects of AI-assisted engineering on delivery results.

• Advance engineering standards and guidelines.

• Introduce innovative agentic methodologies within the organization.

• Influence the software development practices of hundreds of engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Familiarity with agent orchestration frameworks and agentic development platforms.

• Experience with tooling and integrations based on MCP (Model Context Protocol).

• Proven ability to create reusable AI workflows, engineering accelerators, or developer productivity tools.

• Demonstrated history of assisting teams in adopting new technologies and practices at scale through workshops, communities of practice, or technical enablement programs.

• Proficiency with Kubernetes, cloud-native platforms, and distributed systems.

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

• Residing in Portugal.

• Experience with Apache Kafka or event-driven architectures.

• Background in large-scale digital, retail, or eCommerce settings.

• Practical experience with AI coding assistants and agent frameworks (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, LangGraph, CrewAI).

• Proficiency in the Portuguese language.
