Statistical Data Analyst – Online Facilitation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as an independent contractor for LINC, assisting a diverse international community of undergraduate students enrolled in prestigious universities in Australia and Asia.

• Offer subject matter expertise to a cohort of 30–35 undergraduate online learners.

• Aid students in gathering, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data.

• Utilize descriptive and inferential statistical methods to address business challenges and facilitate evidence-based decision-making.

• Support students with essential learning skills such as academic writing, research, and effective time management.

• Direct students to appropriate reference materials.

• Conduct a 2-hour online session on Mondays or Tuesdays.

• Evaluate assessments and provide detailed feedback.

• Oversee discussion forums.

• Deliver proactive, timely, and personalized assistance for student inquiries and challenges.

• Communicate with students via email, phone, or online sessions from a location of their choice.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's or Doctoral degree with a specialization in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related discipline, achieved with distinction or first-class honors from a leading university in India.

• Minimum of 2 years of corporate experience in relevant areas.

• At least 2 years of teaching experience in applicable fields.

• Comprehensive understanding of statistical analysis and data analytics for business-related decision-making.

• Expertise in statistical data analysis, descriptive statistics, data visualization, probability and distributions, inferential statistics, sampling and hypothesis testing, correlation and regression analysis, and data-driven decision-making.

• Practical experience with R, SPSS, Python, advanced Excel, Power BI, and Tableau is preferred.

• Strong communication skills in a business context, including familiarity with contemporary academic/business communication practices, referencing styles, AI utilization, and academic integrity policies.

• Proficient in English, with outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• A working laptop is mandatory.

• Access to a high-speed internet connection (greater than 10 MBPS) is essential.

• Capacity to quickly adapt to technology platforms, including the host university’s LMS and LINCtrac.

• Availability on Mondays or Tuesdays for online sessions between 8:30 AM and 2:30 PM.

• Commitment to respond to student inquiries via email within 6 hours following lectures throughout the week.
