Director of Data Analytics, Outcomes Research

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee the data analytics and outcomes research division at Nadia Care.

• Manage analytics from data architecture through to outcomes measurement and client-facing reporting.

• Collaborate closely with the Engineering team on technical implementation and with Product on reporting and outcomes delivery.

• Lead a team that encompasses data science, data analytics, and health economics/outcomes research.

• Establish a conceptual data architecture, detailing entity relationships, table design, key attributes, and reporting structure.

• Create and sustain frameworks that identify the drivers of clinical outcomes, member retention, and payer ROI.

• Convert analytical insights into practical business recommendations.

• Generate clinical and cost evidence that illustrates program value to payer clients and members.

• Ensure that analyses remain accurate, consistent, and repeatable across various contracts and markets.

• Define metric definitions, data constraints, and reporting guidelines.

• Build, manage, and nurture data scientists, analysts, and specialists in outcomes research.

• Act as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

• Prepare white papers, presentations, and impact briefs that communicate clinical and cost evidence.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or health economics/outcomes research, including experience managing a data team.

• Advanced expertise with statistical, presentation, and visualization tools such as R, Python, SQL, SAS, Excel or Google Sheets, and Tableau.

• Prior experience in a healthcare services company, preferably in value-based care, payer-facing, or outcomes-based contracts.

• Ability to convert data into actionable recommendations.

• Proficiency in data modeling, encompassing entity relationships, table structures, and metric definitions.

• Experience in supporting the CEO, COO, and other executive leaders within a healthcare services organization.

• Proven experience collaborating closely with engineering teams for technical implementation.

• Expertise in health economics, statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology, comparative effectiveness, or real-world evidence methodologies.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage environment with a lean, dynamic team.

• Outstanding oral and written communication abilities.

• Skilled in developing white papers, presentations, and impact briefs that effectively communicate clinical and cost evidence.

• PhD with 7–10 years of relevant experience, or a Master's with 8–12 years in data analytics, data science, or health economics/outcomes research, including management experience leading a data team.

• Must reside in the contiguous United States; candidates from ND, AL, HI, PR, or outside the contiguous US are not eligible for hire.
