This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.
• Assist in the development and implementation of strategic stakeholder engagement initiatives for the Defense Suicide Prevention Office (DSPO).
• Create, plan, and organize DSPO roundtable series, meetings, working groups, and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Promote suicide prevention goals within the wider defense communities.
• Formulate agendas.
• Organize meetings.
• Coordinate events.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders.
• Aid in knowledge management.
• Carry out activities on the day of events.
• Oversee logistics for additional DSPO events and strategic engagement efforts.
• Master’s degree.
• Over 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven ability to create stakeholder engagement strategies that foster support, enhance partnerships, and further organizational goals.
• Experience in planning, coordinating, and executing meetings, roundtables, workshops, and working groups, including agenda creation, logistics management, scheduling, facilitation support, and meeting documentation.
• Established experience acting as a liaison among various stakeholder groups to encourage collaboration, communication, and alignment on common initiatives.
• Strong executive presence with the capability to engage senior leaders, military personnel, chaplains, clients, and other high-ranking stakeholders professionally.
• Experience in forming and sustaining stakeholder relationships within complex organizations.
• Ability to assist with knowledge management tasks, which include organizing information resources, documenting lessons learned, and maintaining reference materials.
• Experience in generating ideas, topics, and collaboration opportunities that bolster strategic prevention, resilience, or wellness initiatives.
• Capability to obtain and retain any necessary government security or access credentials.
• Preferred experience working within military organizations or in support of military personnel.
• Preferred experience engaging with General Officers, Flag Officers, Senior Executive Service (SES) personnel, or other senior executives.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
