This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the staging center.
• Create and execute processes for receiving, staging, configuring, testing, shipping, and returning technology assets.
• Ensure the prompt execution of deployment schedules and deliverables for projects.
• Monitor performance metrics, resource utilization, and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Assess and enhance operational workflows and efficiencies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop staff within the staging center.
• Allocate workloads and set priorities.
• Conduct performance evaluations, training sessions, and career development initiatives.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and workforce planning efforts.
• Ensure accuracy in hardware inventory, asset tracking, inventory controls, audits, and lifecycle management.
• Supervise device imaging, configuration, testing, and readiness for deployment.
• Establish quality control protocols and monitor quality metrics along with customer satisfaction levels.
• Manage operations related to shipping, receiving, warehousing, and reverse logistics.
• Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and transportation services.
• Oversee operational budgets, equipment acquisitions, and resource planning.
• Monitor operational metrics, deliver performance reports, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Act as the primary escalation contact for operational issues.
• Collaborate with project managers, field service teams, and customer stakeholders.
• Communicate updates on project status, risks, and operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, security standards, contractual obligations, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist in audits and compliance assessments.
• Occasional travel to customer sites, for implementation tasks or operational reviews may be required.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations, deployment services, logistics, inventory management, or technical service delivery.
• At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience in managing technology deployment, asset management, or staging center operations.
• Proven experience leading teams in a dynamic operational setting.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and endpoint deployment processes.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and collaboration tools.
• Experience with asset lifecycle management and inventory control systems.
• Proficiency with service management platforms such as ServiceNow.
• Experience with endpoint management tools including Intune, Autopilot, SCCM, or similar platforms.
• Skills in reporting and data analysis using Excel and operational dashboards.
• Capability to work within a warehouse and staging environment.
• Ability to occasionally lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and inspect operations throughout the workday.
• Occasional travel may be necessary.
• Preferred certifications include CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, ITIL Foundation, PMP or equivalent project management experience, along with Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement certification.
