πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Collaborate with suppliers to enhance quality, delivery, manufacturing, and inventory performance.

β€’ Perform audits of new suppliers and evaluate technical quality documentation.

β€’ Conduct onsite visits to suppliers for problem resolution, root cause analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and development initiatives.

β€’ Oversee quality concerns and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).

β€’ Assist procurement and engineering efforts, including quality control, defining technical and quality requirements, supplier selection, and managing supplier relationships.

β€’ Create and implement improvements in reliability for designs and manufacturing processes.

β€’ Offer technical evaluations and guidance on drawings, specifications, and material requirements.

β€’ Work alongside engineers, manufacturing, design, operations, subject matter experts, and technicians to address material and processing challenges.

β€’ Identify process deficiencies, establish corrective actions, and ensure vendors meet deadlines.

β€’ Facilitate PFMEA and related APQP processes.

β€’ Aid in the creation of manufacturing instructions that document quality-critical characteristics.

β€’ Spend significant time onsite at vendor facilities and engage in supplier plant start-ups.

β€’ Manage projects for new production lines and plant launches as the molten salt supply chain expands.

β€’ Accelerate the development of new molten salt production lines and facilities in alignment with CFS business requirements.

β€’ Comply with supply chain, procurement, intellectual property, and export compliance regulations.

β€’ Establish quality signals and processes in collaboration with production operations, inspection, shipping/receiving, and engineering teams.

β€’ Drive enhancements in system reliability, manufacturability, and efficiency.

β€’ Lead investigations into supplier quality failures and address root causes.

β€’ Identify opportunities for risk reduction and design/process simplification.

β€’ Evaluate acceptance and qualification of new supplier capabilities.

β€’ Monitor supplier capabilities for unforeseen risks and address issues as they arise.

β€’ Assess changes in supplier processes and their cross-functional impacts.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

β€’ Over 6 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.

β€’ Experience in chemical plants.

β€’ Expertise in supplier management.

β€’ Strong background in manufacturing, industrial engineering, process expertise, and a quick learning ability for new parts and systems.

β€’ Proficient in performing Supplier Assessments & Audits, including Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001, AS 9100, and IATF 16949.

β€’ Familiarity with PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, capacity analysis, and Lean Six Sigma initiatives.

β€’ Capability to design, establish, and execute supplier quality improvement processes and procedures.

β€’ Technical knowledge of 2D blueprints and model drawings.

β€’ Understanding of supplier quality processes, including PPAP, APQP, first article inspection reports, supplier relationship management, coordination, and communication.

β€’ Ability to engage in activities such as typing, standing, or sitting for extended durations.

β€’ Willingness to travel or work nights, weekends, or be on-call as needed.

β€’ Capability to work in environments with industrial hazards, including heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead, high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics.

β€’ Strong skills in negotiation, communication, collaboration, prioritization, customer service, problem-solving, judgment, and working effectively under pressure.
