This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of global Quality Management System (QMS) processes for Warehousing & Distribution and Supply Chain Security.
• Define, uphold, and perpetually enhance global QMS processes and standards.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to shape the strategic vision and future roadmap for W&D/SCS QMS processes.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their implications for global processes, standards, and controls.
• Offer strategic direction for risk-based assessments.
• Establish and uphold process governance, including performance metrics, risk indicators, escalation processes, and management reporting.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to bolster global process efficiency and compliance.
• Partner with Quality and the wider GMP/GDP network to ensure alignment of standards, expectations, and implementation strategies.
• Provide leadership and expertise in strategies for audit and inspection responses, as well as management reviews.
• Oversee change management for QMS process and regulatory adjustments.
• Develop and utilize a global network of subject matter experts and stakeholders to enhance alignment, decision-making, and execution.
• Doctorate degree with 2 years of Supply Chain experience OR Master’s degree with 4 years of Supply Chain experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of Supply Chain experience OR Associate’s degree with 10 years of Supply Chain experience OR High school diploma / GED with 12 years of Supply Chain experience.
• A minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge and proven application of GMP/GDP regulations and Quality Management Systems within a pharmaceutical or similarly regulated setting.
• Capability to interpret regulatory requirements and convert them into practical, risk-based processes and controls.
• Understanding and application of quality/compliance risk management principles.
• Experience in leading global processes, governance, or substantial cross-functional initiatives.
• Proven experience in supporting and/or leading regulatory inspections and audits.
• Familiarity with warehousing, distribution, and supply chain processes.
• Ability to lead and influence within a complex, global matrix.
• Experience in Operational Excellence, continuous improvement, and process performance management.
• Background as a Global Process Owner or in a similar global process leadership role.
• Experience in pharmaceutical warehousing/distribution and cold-chain operations.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools or technologies, such as machine learning, automation, or advanced analytics.
