This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee logistics support and ensure readiness for RSR locations within a designated region.
• Determine site logistics needs and keep updated checklists of services, equipment, delivery timelines, and responsible parties.
• Arrange for dumpsters, portable restrooms, forklifts, cranes, material-handling equipment, temporary storage, and other site necessities.
• Acquire quotes, prepare purchase or rental requests, obtain necessary approvals, and monitor commitments relative to approved site budgets.
• Track radar equipment, installation materials, replacement parts, and spare components from shipment to site receipt.
• Confirm site access, delivery schedules, unloading arrangements, storage availability, and receiving resources.
• Validate delivery documentation and address shortages, damages, or incorrect shipments.
• Coordinate packaging, loading, transport, temporary storage, and proper disposition of removed equipment and materials.
• Manage rental and temporary site-service delivery, maintenance, extensions, pickups, and closing schedules.
• Keep records of rental equipment, shipments, receipts, service orders, costs, and outstanding requirements.
• Monitor ownership and accountability for government, vendor, and Peraton equipment.
• Address or escalate issues related to missed deliveries, equipment shortages, transportation challenges, and service-provider concerns.
• Report on site readiness, equipment movements, upcoming deliveries, costs, and unresolved matters.
• Coordinate logistics efforts with the Integrated Master Schedule and daily site reporting.
• Support safe site operations by managing equipment capacity, qualified operators, access arrangements, and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with FAA personnel, Peraton managers and site representatives, radar vendors, subcontractors, transportation providers, and local service providers.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen capable of obtaining and maintaining the necessary Public Trust clearance.
• At least 8 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree; 6 years with a Master’s; or a total of 12 years without a degree.
• Experience in coordinating logistics, transportation, procurement support, or field operations for geographically dispersed projects.
• Proven experience in arranging equipment rentals, temporary site services, freight deliveries, and material handling.
• Ability to manage multiple sites and competing priorities while ensuring precise schedules and records.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and tools for tracking shipments, costs, inventory, and schedules.
• Capable of working effectively with government personnel, vendors, subcontractors, and local service providers.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region and comply with FAA facility access requirements.
• Preferred: Experience in supporting radar, aviation, telecommunications, construction, or other technical infrastructure deployments.
• Preferred: Knowledge of FAA field operations, remote-site logistics, and government property accountability.
• Preferred: Experience in supporting equipment removal, disposition, and installation activities.
• Preferred: Familiarity with integrated schedules, site-readiness assessments, and logistics risk management.
