📋 Description

• Work alongside prospects to evaluate the compatibility of their applications with Temporal’s platform.

• Inform customers and prospects about the technical advantages and limitations associated with Temporal’s platform and cloud service.

• Establish Temporal as an enterprise development benchmark in comparison to competing technologies and architectural frameworks.

• Promote the adoption and growth of Temporal within customer production environments.

• Collaborate with Account Executives on detailed account strategies for new opportunities and expansions.

• Cultivate relationships with technical decision-makers and assist them in utilizing Temporal’s features effectively.

• Develop reusable technical materials, reference architectures, playbooks, and demonstrations for other Solution Architects.

• Willingness to travel 25–50% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside within the Central time zone in the United States, with a strong preference for Chicago, Dallas, TX, or Minneapolis.

• Outstanding technical communication abilities for both engineering and executive audiences.

• Profound knowledge of distributed systems technologies, design principles, and industry best practices.

• Experience in building application prototypes and providing guidance on design, development, build, and deployment using Java, Golang, Python, C#, TypeScript, Ruby, or Rust.

• Familiarity with production operational aspects, including security, reliability, performance, cost management, and operations.

• Capability to advise on application patterns and platform architectures.

• Experience with at least one major cloud provider and commonly utilized application development and production services.

• Ability to act as a strategic technical advisor to Sales Account Executives, including scoping and sizing opportunities and evaluating technical compatibility and challenges.
