Solutions Engineer – Enterprise

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with account teams to assess customer data center environments and infrastructure technologies.

• Design and present customized infrastructure solutions that align with customer business goals.

• Establish and nurture technical relationships with OEMs and strategic partners.

• Deliver product training and technical education to both sales teams and customers.

• Serve as a trusted IT advisor in collaboration with Field Account Executives.

• Oversee the solution practice pipeline and formulate strategies for key prospects.

• Acquire new business and pinpoint technology opportunities.

• Develop solutions tailored to customer requirements and budget constraints.

• Engage with CIOs, IT Directors, CTOs, and other client representatives.

• Inform sales teams about technical selling, products, services, and emerging technology trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is essential.

• 3–5 years of experience in a comparable role is necessary.

• Proven experience in handling complex Data Center sales opportunities.

• Capability to design data center infrastructures, including hybrid cloud, hyperconverged systems, SDDC, infrastructure/platform as a service, automation, containerization, and Data Center Management Platforms.

• Strong understanding of virtualization technologies, hypervisors, server virtualization, software-defined data center, containerization, and automation techniques.

• Proficient in communicating and selling complex technical products or services.

• Expertise in Dell Technologies, NetApp, HPE, Cisco, Pure Storage, Azure, AWS, Veeam, and Nutanix.

• Experience in disaster recovery, business continuity, and high availability solutions.

• Willingness to travel to SHI, partner, and customer events.

• Advanced certification in the mentioned mainstream technologies is preferred.
