Staff Solutions Architect, Banking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Act as the main technical leader representing Temporal in customer interactions within the Majors team

• Work alongside potential clients to evaluate how their applications align with Temporal’s platform

• Inform customers and prospects about the advantages and limitations of Temporal’s platform and cloud services

• Position Temporal in comparison to competing technologies and architectural approaches

• Promote the usage and growth of Temporal within customer production settings

• Collaborate with Account Executives to develop account strategies for new prospects and expansions

• Maintain relationships with technical decision-makers, helping them utilize Temporal’s features effectively

• Develop reusable technical resources, reference architectures, playbooks, and demonstrations

• Willingness to travel 25–50%

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in Dallas, Texas, United States

• Excellent technical communication abilities with engineers, platform teams, and VP/CTO audiences

• Profound knowledge of distributed systems technologies, design principles, and best practices

• Experience in building application prototypes and offering guidance on design, development, build, and deployment

• Proficient in at least one supported programming language: Java, Golang, Python, C#, TypeScript, Ruby, or Rust

• Strong understanding of security, reliability, performance, cost management, and operations within production environments

• Capability to provide advice on application patterns and platform architectures

• Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider and commonly utilized application development and production services

• Ability to act as a strategic technical advisor to Sales Account Executives, including opportunity scoping and sizing

• Previous experience in FinTech and/or FinServe is a plus
