Staff Software Engineer – Mongo, Elastic

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of engineers in the creation and design of products that prioritize both customer and associate needs.

• Develop, implement, maintain, and provide support for production applications.

• Assist in the selection, configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning, and monitoring of products and tools.

• Create reusable foundational code components, architectural diagrams, and documentation related to products.

• Construct functional and destructive test suites to facilitate rapid deployment in production environments.

• Collaborate with the Product Team to ensure user stories are well-defined, comprehensible, and testable by developers.

• Engage in agile processes alongside team members.

• Address inquiries from the product and engineering teams.

• Mentor junior engineers on contemporary software development frameworks and lead technical discussions.

• Identify areas for improvement within the team and recommend enhancements for productivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen years of age.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is required.

• A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification in a field pertinent to the position is necessary.

• Experience with search tools such as Elastic Search, Mongo Atlas, or Apache Solr is required.

• Proficiency in addressing security vulnerabilities is essential.

• Familiarity with Java Spring Boot is required.

• Experience with cloud services, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), is beneficial.

• Capability to write SQL queries for relational databases is necessary.
