Staff Software Engineer – ISPM Platform, Ruby/Rails

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop the technical vision and execute new features outlined in the product roadmap.

• Design, create, and sustain end-to-end solutions primarily utilizing Ruby on Rails.

• Construct scalable solutions to address emerging identity security challenges.

• Create user interfaces, scalable data models, event ingestion systems, and automated detection mechanisms.

• Implement effective data pipelines to extract pertinent information from large volumes of irrelevant data.

• Collaborate with security researchers to comprehend hacking techniques and develop countermeasures.

• Offer architectural and design guidance as a technical thought leader.

• Enhance solution quality through code reviews, manual testing, and automated testing practices.

• Establish excellence standards and create processes that improve team efficiency.

• Mentor junior engineers on larger projects, decompose ambiguous challenges, validate designs, and act as a liaison for stakeholders.

• Design systems and architecture capable of efficiently processing petabytes of data.

• Collaborate with product managers, senior engineers, designers, and market specialists.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in developing complex software products.

• More than 5 years of programming experience in Ruby on Rails.

• Familiarity with AI coding tools, such as Claude Code.

• Experience with relational databases, such as Postgres.

• Preferred: Background in the CyberSecurity sector.

• Preferred: Experience with external APIs, particularly REST, OData, and authorization/authentication flows.

• Preferred: Knowledge of identity and resource security providers like m365, Okta, Google Workspaces, or similar platforms.

• Preferred: Experience with additional data storage technologies, including Clickhouse, Redis, ElasticSearch, and Mongo.
