Staff Software Engineer, Full Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and develop high-quality, efficient, and scalable software systems encompassing both backend and frontend.

• Take ownership of the technical architecture and reliability of backend services while managing frontend microapplications.

• Lead discussions on technical design, clarify project requirements, and deliver effective and maintainable solutions.

• Oversee full-stack development initiatives, ranging from backend APIs in Python or Java to frontend integration.

• Act as a central architectural figure across various domains.

• Implement DevOps, CI/CD, and best practices in cloud-native engineering.

• Mentor and guide engineers, enhancing the technical proficiency of the team.

• Collaborate with teams located globally and engage with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Assess and incorporate emerging technologies into the development process.

• Develop and integrate intelligent features utilizing LLMs, agents, and AI frameworks.

• Work alongside other teams to integrate and optimize intelligent features and workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• At least 8 years of experience in software development, focusing on building scalable, high-performing, and robust applications.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript with substantial experience in full-stack development.

• Proficiency in modern web frameworks, including React, TypeScript, and GraphQL.

• Experience with at least one backend language or framework, such as Node.js, Java, or Python.

• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, multithreading, and distributed systems.

• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases, including DynamoDB, MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, Solr, Vespa, or Lucene.

• Experience in cloud-native development using AWS or GCP.

• Proficient in Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.

• Knowledge of observability tools and platforms for monitoring, logging, and tracing.

• Experience with service reliability, on-call responsibilities, and incident management for production systems.

• Capability to lead technically within distributed and cross-functional teams.

• Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code or Copilot.

• A proven history of promoting AI adoption within engineering teams is highly advantageous.
