Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable, efficient, and maintainable software features in alignment with business needs and technical specifications.

• Construct and sustain RESTful APIs utilizing WebAPI and JSON for distributed systems.

• Create and enhance SQL database solutions, encompassing scripts, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and performance optimization.

• Develop responsive user interfaces with AngularJS, Angular, and React.

• Write clean, well-documented code adhering to SOLID principles and established design patterns.

• Generate comprehensive automated unit tests.

• Detect and resolve concurrency challenges, including blocking and deadlocking issues.

• Troubleshoot intricate issues and refine features based on testing insights and production feedback.

• Contribute to the technical design documentation and architectural decisions.

• Engage in the complete software development lifecycle from requirement analysis to deployment and production support.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Content Subject Matter Experts, QA Engineers, developers, and distributed teams operating across different time zones.

• Recognize opportunities to utilize new technologies and enhance development processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

• 5-8 years of professional software development experience in building enterprise-scale applications.

• Strong proficiency in C# programming with .NET Framework and .NET 5+.

• Experience with AngularJS, Angular, and/or React.

• SQL Server database development skills, including stored procedures, functions, views, indexes, and query optimization.

• Proficient in RESTful API design and development using ASP.NET WebAPI or similar frameworks.

• Familiarity with Azure ServiceBus, AWS SQS, or Kafka.

• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and test-driven development practices, such as xUnit or NUnit.

• Understanding of MVC/MVVM design patterns and enterprise application architecture.

• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, XML, JSON, and contemporary web standards.

• Experience with version control systems like Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, or BitBucket.

• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming and SOLID design principles.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.

• Commitment to clean, maintainable code and best practices in software engineering.

• Preferred: Experience with AWS cloud technologies, Microsoft Fabric, Azure data platform technologies, Power BI, Elasticsearch, Playwright, Redis, Microsoft Rules Engine, Docker, Kubernetes, Entity Framework, performance profiling, and healthcare technology/HIPAA or regulated-industry experience.
