This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take ownership, develop, and manage a technically intricate FinTech system along with its unique technical strategy.
β’ Lead the design specifications, architecture, implementation, and operational activities.
β’ Utilize domain knowledge across product information, pricing, orders, subscriptions, fulfillment, usage, and financial transactions.
β’ Create subscription and usage-based commerce functionalities, which encompass metering, token consumption, billing, and settlement.
β’ Make impactful decisions regarding what to develop, scale, or phase out in the face of uncertain challenges.
β’ Enhance the revenue lifecycle comprehensively across ownership boundaries.
β’ Detect significant issues and construct solutions using AI agents and enterprise-approved tools.
β’ Employ specification-driven development to outline business rules, system behaviors, edge cases, and acceptance criteria.
β’ Design systems ensuring financial correctness, data integrity, auditability, and resilient operations.
β’ Equip systems for adoption, usage, reliability, and financial precision.
β’ Collaborate with Product, Finance, Compliance, Operations, Commercial, and engineering teams.
β’ Execute financial controls and traceability to support auditability, revenue recognition, taxation, and compliance.
β’ Develop platform capabilities for trustworthy financial experiences.
β’ Guide engineers on architecture, domain trade-offs, validation, and production risks.
β’ Identify and mitigate financial inaccuracies, data loss, security vulnerabilities, and AI-specific risks prior to release.
β’ Spearhead discovery, spikes, prototypes, proofs of concept, and robust production deployments.
β’ Compose clear documentation for teams utilizing the systems.
β’ Present technical guidance to engineering and product stakeholders.
β’ Significant hands-on experience in building and operating production systems across two or three FinTech domains: PIM, CPQ, O2C, FEM, FX, or reconciliation and settlement.
β’ Familiarity with payments, subscriptions, revenue recognition, and/or financial reconciliation.
β’ Experience with managing subscription lifecycles, usage-based consumption, pricing models, and billing processes.
β’ Capability to implement financial controls and auditable workflows in collaboration with Finance and Compliance teams.
β’ Proficient in translating domain rules into clear specifications and testable system behaviors, including failure scenarios and financial edge cases.
β’ Comprehension of upstream and downstream impacts across financial records, customer access, and operational workflows.
β’ Experience in mentoring Software Engineers to take ownership of highly complex systems.
β’ Knowledge in applying techniques from research or external sources through prototypes, proofs of concept, and stable production rollouts.
β’ Awareness of AI capabilities and their limitations.
β’ Proficiency with enterprise-approved AI tools, including Claude.
β’ Understanding of data classification and privacy principles related to AI systems.
β’ Knowledge of responsible AI, including bias mitigation, fairness, and transparency.
β’ Advanced proficiency in prompting techniques, such as multi-turn context setting, chain-of-thought elicitation, structured output enforcement, and iterative refinement.
β’ Ability to develop and manage evaluation and validation frameworks for AI-assisted or AI-native systems.
β’ Skill in scrutinizing agent-generated code within highly complex systems.
β’ Ability to monitor AI-specific vulnerabilities and keep up with evolving state-of-the-art techniques.
