This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and develop secure software solutions utilizing C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, ASP.NET, and Visual Studio.
• Create responsive front-end interfaces employing JavaScript, EXT JS, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Construct secure RESTful APIs, services, and modular components that adhere to DoD cybersecurity and architectural standards.
• Oversee, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases within controlled environments.
• Create advanced T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and performance-optimized queries.
• Implement secure database schemas, access controls, auditing procedures, and backup/recovery strategies in compliance with DoD requirements.
• Adhere to DoD Secure Coding Guidelines, STIGs, and RMF controls throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Engage in code reviews, threat modeling, and vulnerability remediation efforts.
• Generate documentation for configuration management, accreditation packages, and government audits.
• Integrate Kiro AI functionalities into enterprise or mission-support applications.
• Collaborate with data science teams to incorporate AI-driven features while ensuring security and compliance.
• Work alongside cybersecurity, systems engineering, QA, and program management teams.
• Assist in deployment, testing, and sustainment activities within classified or controlled environments.
• Active DoD Secret clearance is mandatory.
• Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining additional program-specific accesses (e.g., SAP, CI polygraph) if necessary.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Eligibility for a government-issued Secret-level clearance is necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 7 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in C#, .NET, Visual Studio, and Microsoft development tools.
• Strong experience in SQL Server administration, performance tuning, and advanced T-SQL scripting.
• Proven ability to develop complex front-end applications utilizing JavaScript and EXT JS.
• Experience in developing software that complies with DoD cybersecurity frameworks (RMF, STIGs, secure coding).
• Previous experience with classified systems or secure enclaves is preferred.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience integrating Kiro AI technologies.
• Preference given to applicants located in the Eastern time zone.
• Occasional travel required for meetings at government facilities.
• Flexible remote work arrangement available.
