Staff Software Engineer, Client Experience Frameworks

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and develop framework-agnostic UI components for product teams utilizing various frontend technologies.

• Promote the adoption of the design system within product engineering and assist with migration initiatives.

• Take ownership of the complete technical delivery process, encompassing scoping, architectural choices, and production deployment.

• Enhance the developer experience through build tools, testing frameworks, documentation, and automation.

• Make informed decisions regarding component composition, API design, and maintainability for a system utilized by over 250 engineers.

• Advocate for performance, accessibility, and adherence to web standards.

• Offer cross-team technical guidance through code reviews, consulting, and mentoring.

⛳️ Requirements

• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Extensive expertise in TypeScript.

• Substantial experience with contemporary UI frameworks, including component architecture, reactivity, and state management.

• Profound knowledge of Web Components, browser APIs, the DOM, and framework abstractions.

• Experience with build systems and bundlers such as Webpack, Vite, or Rollup.

• Experience in building or maintaining a design system, component library, or shared UI infrastructure utilized by engineering teams.

• Proven ability to influence technical decisions across teams and manage stakeholders with conflicting needs.

• A pragmatic approach to addressing technical debt and architectural trade-offs.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States for any employer without current or future visa sponsorship.

• Must be eligible to commence work in the U.S. on the first day of employment.
