Staff Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and resolve challenging technical issues across the organization.

• Assist the Engineering team in fulfilling commitments by pinpointing gaps and providing support as necessary.

• Enhance reliability, performance, and speed of delivery.

• Guide engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning.

• Establish clear patterns, conduct reviews, and collaborate actively to boost engineering effectiveness.

• Collaborate with product and engineering leaders on intricate or high-stakes projects.

• Design, develop, and refine essential technical patterns.

• Produce high-quality code, prototypes, reference implementations, and reusable components.

• Offer technical expertise through pair programming, design reviews, and code evaluations.

• Lead the design efforts for distributed systems, cloud-native patterns, API development, and multi-tenant SaaS solutions.

• Collaborate with data and AI teams to integrate applications with pipelines, analytics, and ML or LLM services.

• Identify performance bottlenecks, technical risks, and architectural deficiencies while driving effective solutions.

• Work with product leadership to ensure the technical foundation aligns with roadmap objectives.

• Initiate and oversee cross-cutting projects that enhance the architecture and codebase.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a hands-on staff-level engineer working with distributed systems at scale.

• Strong foundation in cloud-native engineering, preferably with AWS/Azure, microservices, and SaaS methodologies.

• Experience in building or supporting data and AI workloads, including integrations with ML or LLM.

• Capability to translate complex technical issues into clear and actionable solutions.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentorship abilities.

• Reveleer E-Verifies all new hires.
