Senior Software Engineer, ServiceNow Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Engage in development initiatives and enhancements for ServiceNow.

• Manage troubleshooting tickets within the ServiceNow platform.

• Design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy business rules, client scripts, UI pages/actions/policies, ACLs, notifications, ServiceNow APIs, SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, and FTPS solutions.

• Utilize development skills, including HTML, CSS, and Angular JS.

• Create and employ update sets to transfer customizations between ServiceNow instances.

• Design and uphold a highly available and recoverable environment.

• Review requirements to ensure adequate detail for precise estimation.

• Proactively maintain up-to-date ServiceNow skills.

• Conduct peer reviews, mentor colleagues, and share technical expertise with the service management team.

• Collaborate with process owners and other stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a ServiceNow Developer.

• Experience within an ITSM organizational structure.

• Proven experience in implementing Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Request, and CMDB process areas.

• Hands-on ServiceNow Development experience.

• Familiarity with ITIL practices.

• ServiceNow System Administrator Certification.

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent work experience.

• Willingness to work evening shifts, from 5 PM to 2 AM IST.
