This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Lead a team of engineers in the development and design of products aimed at both customers and associates.
• Create, deploy, and provide ongoing support for production applications.
• Assist in the selection, configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning, and monitoring of products and tools.
• Contribute reusable foundational code components, architectural diagrams, and documentation related to products.
• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications.
• Create functional and destructive test suites to facilitate rapid production deployment.
• Collaborate with the Product Team to ensure user stories are ready for developers, clear, and testable.
• Engage with team members in agile methodologies.
• Provide answers to inquiries from product and engineering teams.
• Mentor junior engineers on contemporary software development frameworks and lead technical discussions.
• Identify productivity gaps within the team and propose enhancements.
• Applicants must be at least eighteen years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Extensive knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
• Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language, preferably Java.
• Experience with both relational and NoSQL database technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud computing methodologies.
• Experience using CI/CD tools.
• Understanding of modern software design patterns.
• Proven ability in effective data modeling with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with security frameworks for user and service authorization and authentication.
• Ability to create and execute unit, functional, destructive, and performance tests.
• Proficient in modern debugging techniques and root cause analysis.
• Experience with a version control system.
• Skilled in designing systems for High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Performance, Efficiency, and Security.
• Exposure to developing technical roadmaps, including work estimation, refactoring, and modernizing legacy systems.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
