Staff Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish and lead the technical strategy and architecture across key product domains.

• Oversee the technical design for intricate features and initiatives.

• Facilitate technical refinement and mitigate risks associated with complex initiatives.

• Guide engineers of all experience levels and elevate technical standards within the engineering team.

• Spearhead the implementation of ambitious, high-impact product features.

• Engage in code reviews to uphold code quality and maintainability standards.

• Lead design reviews, product retrospectives, and other team ceremonies.

• Conduct technical interviews and refine hiring criteria.

• Foster alignment on significant technical decisions among engineers and stakeholders.

• Identify and mitigate architectural risks, technical debt, process issues, and scalability challenges.

• Advocate for the adoption of new technologies and design patterns.

• Leverage artificial intelligence as a catalyst for development while applying human judgment.

• Initiate, design, and manage green-field development for new products as necessary.

• Actively contribute to Prompt’s healthcare enterprise software platform for rehabilitation therapy businesses and patients.


⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience as a senior software engineer specializing in Full Stack web development.

• Proven experience as a technical leader for complex, high-impact engineering projects.

• Ability to mentor seasoned engineers and enhance engineering standards within a team.

• Excellent communication skills with the capability to clearly express your thoughts and decisions.

• Commitment to contributing to the growth of the product, team, and vision of Prompt Therapy Solutions Inc.

• Experience in developing and maintaining enterprise-scale applications, focusing on data architecture and query performance.

• Proficient in PHP, Laravel, Vue.JS, and MySQL or similar technologies such as Ruby, Node.JS, React, Angular, Ember, Postgres, or MSSQL.

• Interested in a substantial code contribution role as a Staff-level individual contributor, rather than an Engineering Manager position.

• Legally authorized to work in the US.

• Must be located in the US.

• Availability to work around U.S. business hours, within reasonable limits.
