Senior Developer / Tech Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Act as the technical point of reference for the development team, aiding in decisions regarding architecture, standards, and tools.

• Engage actively in code reviews and the establishment of best practices.

• Collaborate with the Solutions Architect to design and refine solutions.

• Ensure the technical excellence of the software, encompassing testing, performance, security, observability, and maintainability.

• Assist the team in translating requirements into technical specifications, estimates, and delivery plans.

• Work alongside the Product Manager/Owner and other departments (Design, Business, Data, and Infrastructure) to align on priorities and technical feasibility.

• Drive continuous improvement efforts, including refactoring, automation, and reducing technical debt.

• Provide mentorship to developers at various levels, fostering career growth and knowledge exchange.

• Take part in incident investigation and resolution, suggesting preventive measures such as post-mortems and root cause analyses (RCAs).

• Help cultivate a robust, collaborative, and results-driven engineering culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a senior software developer, actively involved in day-to-day development tasks.

• Prior experience in providing technical leadership for teams or projects in roles such as Tech Lead, Technical Lead, Software Architect, or a similar position.

• Proficient in at least one modern programming language, including Java, C#, Node.js, Go, or Python.

• Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices (such as SOLID principles and Clean Code).

• Experience with REST APIs and, ideally, GraphQL.

• Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases.

• Experience in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).

• Proficiency with version control systems (Git).

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts in business terms.

• A collaborative mindset, ownership attitude, and a commitment to delivering value.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud architecture principles.

• Understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containers (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).

• Experience with distributed architectures, including microservices, messaging, and event-driven systems.

• Involvement in technical communities, open-source contributions, conference presentations, articles, or similar activities.
