This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Design, develop, and deploy resilient full-stack microservices for the Policy Engine.
• Provide real-time and batch decision assessments for projects, including the SailPoint Agentic Fabric.
• Quickly prototype solutions and refine product specifications in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Create high-performance, maintainable software utilizing Golang and Angular.
• Implement AI-assisted and agentic development workflows along with contemporary engineering practices.
• Engage in daily standups, sprint planning sessions, code reviews, and team collaboration efforts.
• Design and execute comprehensive microservice features from end to end.
• Create unit and integration test suites to ensure service resilience and external integration capabilities.
• Participate in the engineering on-call rotation, approximately one week out of every 20.
• Lead design review sessions, mentor team members, and promote agentic coding practices.
• Act as a subject matter expert on the Policy Engine and Agentic Fabric decision systems.
• Influence technical roadmaps and the architectural advancement of essential microservices.
• Collaborate with global architecture and engineering leaders on coding standards and significant technical projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 5 years of professional software development experience in creating production-grade distributed systems.
• Strong expertise in backend microservices development, ideally with Golang.
• Demonstrated experience in modern frontend development, preferably using Angular.
• Practical knowledge or substantial familiarity with AI-assisted/agentic software development tools and methodologies.
• Robust background in testing and debugging intricate systems, encompassing unit, integration, and performance profiling.
• Experience in designing and managing microservices within SaaS/cloud environments.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication abilities with a clear, approachable demeanor towards teamwork.
• Proficient in Golang, TypeScript, JavaScript, Angular, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins/CloudBees, and Git relevant to the technology stack.
