Staff Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in an agile development environment, emphasizing Test-Driven Development (TDD) and adaptable pair programming.

• Collaborate within balanced teams, partnering with product and design to influence the application's direction.

• Make pivotal technical decisions regarding application and data model architecture.

• Ensure the stability and performance of application stacks.

• Regularly produce high-quality code that aligns with business objectives.

• Utilize knowledge of data structures, TDD, and software engineering design patterns and principles.

• Guide a team in making informed technical choices.

• Take part in an on-call rotation, guaranteeing prompt resolution of critical system issues and contributing to the ongoing enhancement of system reliability and availability.

• Utilize innovative AI developer tools to expedite development processes, enhance code quality, and automate routine tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in a production environment utilizing Ruby on Rails or other open-source languages (e.g., Python, Golang, JavaScript).

• Staff-level engineering background, encompassing technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and mentorship of engineers.

• Must be a resident of the U.S.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout the duration of employment.
