Senior Software Engineer – Risk

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the maintenance, enhancement, and expansion of Aledade's web application and data pipelines.

• Design and implement scalable and efficient solutions.

• Develop secure, maintainable, efficient, correct, scalable, and stable solutions to address intricate challenges within the healthcare industry.

• Utilize observability, alerting, metrics, comprehensive test coverage, and frequent incremental releases to mitigate risk.

• Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to formulate and execute technical roadmaps within an Agile framework.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.

• Perform detailed pull request reviews for fellow developers while also welcoming constructive feedback on your own contributions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A BS/BTech (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 6 years of experience as an engineer developing full-stack web applications as part of a cross-functional team.

• At least 3 years of experience working with SQL or other database querying languages on extensive multi-table datasets.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience serving as a trusted technical decision-maker within a team, focusing on both short-term and long-term business value.

• Over 3 years of experience in coaching fellow engineers.

• Proven experience in building full-stack web applications using any programming language or framework.

• Proficiency in at least one server-side web technology (e.g., Node.js, Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++, Go, JVM).

• Background in working with data ingestion systems and optimizing performance for large-scale data processing and analysis.

• Familiarity with relational database systems.

• Experience in API design and development.

• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Knowledge of security practices and systems managing sensitive data.
