Staff Software Development Engineer – Mobile

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +43 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and develop efficient, scalable native iOS mobile applications.

• Engage in solution design and architectural discussions with senior engineers.

• Offer insights on technical feasibility, performance enhancement, and scalability.

• Participate in code reviews to uphold coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines.

• Communicate and collaborate with team members, contributing to decision-making processes.

• Promote the adoption of mobile best practices, along with new technologies and tools.

• Take part in code reviews, technical discussions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

• Implement advanced features and improve existing functionalities.

• Ensure the delivery of high-quality code.

• Mentor and guide junior developers.

• Develop and execute the Enterprise Solution Strategy for mobile applications.

• Architect, code, test, and debug digital solutions and systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in the overall software development lifecycle.

• At least 3 years of experience in designing, developing, or implementing native iOS frameworks and/or features.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with native mobile applications/platforms, including testing processes, methodologies, and tools.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with Swift.

• At least 1 year of experience using AI tools, such as Claude.

• Strong proficiency with DevOps CI/CD platforms like CircleCI, TeamCity, and Sonar.

• Experience with unit and UI testing frameworks such as XCTest.

• Practical experience in testing and automating mobile applications, APIs, and databases.

• Hands-on experience with observability tools like Datadog and AppDynamics.

• Familiarity with SwiftUI.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (high school diploma + 4 years relevant experience).
