Staff Software Development Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement digital solutions and systems.

• Architect and code software applications.

• Conduct system testing and debugging.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Contribute to the technical direction and innovation of digital engineering projects.

• Lead operational excellence through improvements in automation and reliability.

• Drive root-cause analysis and enhance observability.

• Act as the technical lead for complex production issues.

• Establish operational best practices.

• Ensure applications adhere to availability, compliance, audit, and supportability standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of relevant experience in C/C++ and/or .NET.

• More than 3 years of experience with Linux/Windows environments and GitHub.

• Proven experience in developing, troubleshooting, and maintaining high-performance applications.

• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues with an emphasis on performance, stability, and reliability.

• Proficiency in object-oriented programming.

• Strong understanding of data structures.

• Knowledge of memory management.

• Experience with multithreading.

• Certification as a Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) is preferred.

• Familiarity with healthcare claims processing, adjudication, or pricing systems.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (High School diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience).
