Staff Software Development Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and support the cloud-native Workload credentials management solution within the BeyondTrust platform.

• Create, develop, and uphold scalable and resilient full-stack platform components, services, and orchestration.

• Enhance user experiences for intricate web-based enterprise applications.

• Take the lead and contribute to system design while providing technical direction on increasingly complex projects.

• Assess functional and technical requirements, identify gaps and limitations, suggest simplifications, and communicate ideas across cross-functional teams.

• Collaborate with both engineering and non-engineering stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.

• Assume complete ownership of results both individually and as part of a team.

• Implement engineering best practices to deliver top-notch products and services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in delivering and supporting enterprise-ready, cloud-based systems.

• More than 4 years of professional experience with Go in production settings.

• Strong understanding of modern design patterns and the ability to evaluate trade-offs between various approaches.

• Proven ability to lead complex projects from the design phase through to production release.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.

• Experience in mentoring and guiding multiple engineers.

• Capability to influence stakeholders toward strategic decisions.

• Familiarity with the complete development lifecycle, continuous integration, and agile product release methodologies.

• Expertise in cloud and SaaS development and strategy.

• Proficient in developing API services, distributed systems, and scalable microservices architectures.

• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and in-depth knowledge of Angular, React, or similar technologies.

• Proficiency in C# or other object-oriented programming languages is advantageous.

• Previous experience in security or secrets management is preferred.

• Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

• Experience managing services in a production environment at scale.

• Understanding of cloud infrastructure operations.

• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and end-to-end testing tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium is a plus.

• Experience utilizing AI agents and harnesses in regular workflows.

• Authored or contributed to well-known open-source projects.
