Staff Software Developer – Endpoint Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Assist a software development team that prioritizes project execution, technical delivery, and mentorship.

• Develop highly dependable code for agent-based cybersecurity services and their implementation across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.

• Produce technical documentation, including high-level designs and architectural specifications.

• Promote technical excellence in code quality, performance, and system dependability.

• Guide Senior and Mid-level engineers in technical design and best practices.

• Work collaboratively with Product, Security, and DevOps teams on technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8-12+ years of experience in systems engineering.

• 3+ years in leadership positions with technical responsibilities.

• Extensive knowledge of one or more system-level programming languages such as C++ or Rust.

• Proven experience in leading intricate technical projects and mentoring engineers.

• Background in an environment that demands engineering excellence to create highly reliable software.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, threat detection, and the processing of security data.

• Experience in an Agent team within a SaaS organization.

• Profound understanding of operating system internals, particularly MacOS.

• Background checks are mandatory.

• Authorization to access software or technology governed by applicable U.S. export control laws and regulations, if relevant.

• Candidates participating in remote interviews are required to be on camera throughout all video sessions.
