Staff Product Manager – Identity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design the upcoming generation of identity solutions

• Expand Twilio’s foundational identity product with secure, developer-oriented identity experiences

• Develop products that facilitate authentication, authorization, and agentic/non-human identity scenarios

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to establish direction and convert customer needs into product functionalities

• Create the product roadmap

• Work alongside Twilio teams to synchronize product direction and remove obstacles for cross-team initiatives

• Write PRFAQs and product requirement documents

• Partner with engineering and design to bring product concepts to fruition

• Empower go-to-market teams to assist customers in overcoming challenges using Twilio products

• Deconstruct complex issues, make practical trade-offs, and design experiences for developers

• Advocate for customers in product decisions and deliver products that provide value to them

• Occasionally travel for project or team meetings in person

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in product management, or a combination of 2+ years in product management with 3+ years in an engineering role

• Proven experience in developing highly technical products and/or products aimed at developers

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is mandatory

• Strong understanding of technical, analytical, and UI/UX design principles

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Experience in identity and access management is desirable

• Background in developing developer tools or SDKs is a plus

• A passion for hands-on creation and seeing projects come to life is preferred
