Staff Product Manager, Growth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of Product-Led Growth, guiding the process from developer awareness through onboarding, adoption, and growth of production workloads.

• Increase the developer base and oversee product features that encourage building and stack adoption.

• Manage the onboarding and activation processes to transition developers from signup to engaging with real workloads.

• Track accounts that are gaining traction, identify them early, and assist in their scaling efforts.

• Enhance platform depth by promoting products such as agent hosting, LiveKit Inference, and Agent Observability as natural early adoption paths.

• Advocate for self-serve developers in the product roadmap, encompassing documentation through to product development.

• Oversee platform-health operating metrics and collaborate with the data team on review cycles.

• Lead a growth squad that encompasses product, design, engineering, marketing, and analytics.

• Collaborate with developer support engineers to scale accounts and partner with marketing before signup.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in product management at a senior or staff level.

• Ideally, experience in managing growth, activation, or retention for a developer-centric or usage-based product.

• Experience in product-led growth, overseeing acquisition, onboarding, adoption, and expansion funnels.

• Proven ability to influence usage metrics, not just signup metrics.

• Technical proficiency sufficient to utilize a CLI and engage in substantial technical discussions with customers and engineers.

• Strong quantitative skills and comfort in analyzing data, trends, and measurement constraints.

• Ability to influence cross-functionally across product, marketing, support, and sales teams.

• Excellent writing and presentation skills, able to communicate board-level strategies and engage in detailed technical discussions.

• Comfort with ambiguity, a knack for ruthless prioritization, and the ability to execute quickly.

• Nice to have: experience in growth or PLG ownership at a company focused on developer tools, APIs, or infrastructure.

• Nice to have: background in consumer growth, consumption-based businesses, technical onboarding, high-touch motions, voice AI, real-time communication, agent frameworks, SQL, and data warehousing.
