Staff Product Manager, Enterprise Deployment Solutions

📋 Description

• Establish the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Grafana Bring Your Own Cloud and Grafana Federal Cloud offerings.

• Weigh customer value against engineering costs and technical constraints utilizing product data and market research.

• Take ownership of positioning, messaging, and differentiation for the products.

• Collaborate with Product Marketing on launches, competitive analysis, enablement, and demand initiatives.

• Work in partnership with Engineering and Technical Program Management on product buildouts.

• Balance customer timelines with engineering capacity effectively.

• Engage directly with customers, prospects, and the field on strategic opportunities.

• Update partners, resellers, and analysts on deployment options.

• Collaborate with Security, Compliance, and Legal teams on product modifications that impact authorization or customer commitments.

• Adapt Grafana Cloud functionalities for regulated and customer-managed environments.

• Determine which features to include, defer, or exclude across various deployment models.

• Utilize AI tools daily for research, product-signal analysis, and development of positioning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of product management experience with a technical B2B product, or a technical background (such as software engineering, solutions architecture, SRE, or technical program management) along with demonstrated product ownership.

• Practical experience with non-standard SaaS deployment models, including self-managed, air-gapped, sovereign, BYOC, single-tenant, or FedRAMP/government cloud.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, platform software, or developer tools.

• Strong product and go-to-market judgment.

• Interest in collaborating with US public sector clients and understanding their needs and purchasing cycles.

• Experience in leading across multiple teams without having direct authority.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in a remote, globally distributed environment.

• Bonus: Experience selling to or developing for US federal, state, or local government clients, or within other heavily regulated industries.

• Bonus: Knowledge of government or sovereign cloud frameworks and services.

• Bonus: Experience with pricing and packaging across different deployment models.

• Bonus: Background in observability, monitoring, or other data-intensive infrastructure products.

• Bonus: Experience collaborating with resellers, systems integrators, or cloud marketplace partners.

• Bonus: Familiarity with open-source software or commercial open-source companies.
