This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the vision and roadmap for Affirm’s consumer loyalty program over multiple quarters.
• Establish hypotheses, success metrics, and sequencing for program development.
• Implement rewards and tiers, which include earning mechanics, member benefits, redemption processes, as well as in-app, checkout, and post-purchase experiences.
• Create engagement loops that leverage progress, milestones, and personalized offers.
• Manage program economics, focusing on reward liability, funding mix, incentives, incremental GMV, and cost per member.
• Set up loyalty measurement through holdouts, incrementality testing, and long-term LTV analysis.
• Optimize earning and burning rates along with tier thresholds based on data analysis.
• Collaborate with Risk, Credit, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Marketing to ensure rewards are compliant and clearly communicated.
• Align with senior stakeholders and coordinate dependencies across Card, Shopping, Servicing, and Marketing teams.
• Lead engineering and design pods through uncertain scenarios.
• A minimum of 8 years in Product Management.
• Proven experience in consumer mobile applications, fintech, or neobanks.
• Experience in building or scaling loyalty, rewards, or engagement programs.
• Understanding of earning and burning mechanics along with program economics.
• A history of launching products from inception.
• Experience in managing repeat usage, cohort retention, or share of wallet as a key metric.
• Ability to develop and justify financial models related to reward costs, funding mix, and payback periods.
• Strong instincts for user experience and high design standards.
• Proficiency in experimental design, incrementality/attribution, and LTV measurement.
• Data skills, including self-service capabilities in SQL and Amplitude.
• Demonstrated success in shipping consumer financial or regulated products.
• Comfort in collaborating with Risk/Credit, Legal, and Compliance teams.
• Exceptional cross-functional leadership skills with experience in leading without direct authority.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude Code and Cursor for research, analysis, prototyping, and product vision.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
