This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and enhance expertise in branded and specialty pharmaceutical product segments.
• Formulate strategies to boost sales, market presence, and profitability.
• Conduct analysis of categories and create strategic plans for them.
• Manage supplier profitability, category maintenance, and the launch of new products.
• Negotiate distribution agreements with suppliers under managerial guidance.
• Identify new suppliers and set up items accordingly.
• Take ownership of category performance activities, including sales and market share evaluations.
• Recognize underperforming categories and devise programs to enhance sales and market share.
• Offer strategic recommendations regarding brand and private-label product expansions and line extensions.
• Handle new product submissions and evaluate supplier information.
• Make decisions on product acceptance or rejection, pricing strategies, forecasts, and initial order quantities.
• Supervise the creation of new item codes, web attributes, descriptions, and catalog content.
• Collaborate with suppliers to develop promotional strategies for product introductions.
• Determine products and pricing strategies for channel media.
• Negotiate purchasing agreements with suppliers and manage communication with Inventory Management.
• Review marketing classifications and item descriptions to ensure product-content accuracy.
• Responsible for A-system and/or e-commerce classifications, item descriptions, and images.
• Review and endorse SKU Optimization recommendations for stocking, non-stocking, and inventory returns.
• Manage category layouts and presentations across channel media and marketing platforms.
• Address channel-marketing challenges within set deadlines.
• Engage in special projects and fulfill other responsibilities as needed.
• Provide mentorship to associates and specialists.
• Generally, 7 or more years of progressively responsible and complex professional experience; first-level management experience.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent analytical abilities.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate within a team environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train, lead, and develop a team on established processes and procedures.

• Typically, a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field is preferred; a Master's degree or equivalent is an advantage.
• Travel is generally less than 10%.
