This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Take ownership of the BOXED.GG product roadmap while actively contributing to strategic initiatives.
β’ Establish product direction and advocate for it among founders and senior stakeholders.
β’ Manage the BOXED economy, which includes gems, shards, site balance, real-world collectible market interactions, and customer sentiment.
β’ Oversee the entire customer journey from onboarding and activation through gamification, opening experiences, social engagement, retention mechanics, in-product economy, and fulfillment systems.
β’ Suggest, organize, and prioritize roadmap initiatives based on business and customer outcomes.
β’ Leverage quantitative data on activation, retention, monetization, and referrals to inform decision-making.
β’ Define the analytics required for successful features and experiments, and independently extract and analyze data.
β’ Incorporate qualitative inputs such as customer interviews, community beta groups, polls, and surveys.
β’ Manage the BOXED inventory pipeline and address challenges related to sourcing and consumer experience systems.
β’ Collaborate across engineering, design, marketing, growth, fulfillment, support, and other departments.
β’ Extensive product management experience with the responsibility for making challenging decisions.
β’ Proven ability to operate with high ownership and agency without relying on additional headcount.
β’ Experience managing a roadmap that has a significant impact on revenue.
β’ Capability to articulate the reasons behind changes in core product metrics.
β’ Technical fluency sufficient to gain the trust of engineering and design colleagues.
β’ Ability to defend product decisions, embrace disagreement, and commit to a given direction.
β’ Proven ability to collaborate across marketing, growth, fulfillment, support, and other departments.
β’ Eagerness to learn about the collectibles industry and actively engage with the collector community.
β’ T-shaped/full-stack perspective across various business verticals.
β’ Resourcefulness in creating scalable solutions, experimenting with tools or workflows, and effectively overcoming obstacles.
β’ Data-driven approach to decision-making and the ability to develop measurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
β’ Preferred but not required: experience in building consumer products that incorporate engagement loops and habit formation.
β’ Preferred but not required: experience in marketplace, e-commerce, or fulfillment systems.
β’ Preferred but not required: familiarity with digital economies, site currencies, and payment systems.
β’ Preferred but not required: experience with live operations and in-product economy design.
β’ Preferred but not required: personal interest in collectibles, TCGs, or hobby communities.
