This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead the vision and ensure effective execution of development and sales for the Core Search foundation team.
• Gather feedback from customers and partners.
• Evaluate and prioritize feature requests and bugs for the Search platform, including Federated, Metric, and Lakehouse search.
• Collaborate with PM leads and fellow PMs to prioritize features and present unified product roadmaps.
• Negotiate feature prioritization with Engineering Management, considering available resources and competing demands.
• Showcase roadmaps and explore use cases with customers and partners.
• Keep the development team backlog aligned with company strategy and team objectives.
• Ensure visibility of status updates with leadership and stakeholders.
• Comprehend and communicate the financial cost-benefit and license implications of integrations.
• Define “golden path” use cases in collaboration with Marketing and Customer Success, providing the field with necessary support materials.
• Create and present public product resources, including videos, blogs, and presentations.
• Work cross-functionally to identify and resolve gaps in product offerings or enablement.
• Assess integration effectiveness through product metrics and feedback from stakeholders.
• Act as the primary point of contact for Search integrations.
• Occasionally fulfill responsibilities outside of standard working hours to facilitate collaboration across different time zones.
• Over 5 years of experience in a customer-facing Product Management role.
• Background in observability, metrics, analytics, cybersecurity, big data system integrations, or SaaS.
• Extensive experience with big data/analytics products and query languages including SQL, KQL, SPL, or similar analytics languages and platforms.
• Knowledge of handling data at terabyte and petabyte scales.
• Familiarity with network protocols for data transport and data structures for processing and storage.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Proficiency in using the Atlassian suite, particularly Jira and Confluence.
• Demonstrated ability to manage the delivery and upkeep of complex data integration systems that achieve measurable results.
• Strong project management capabilities and the ability to juggle multiple programs and priorities effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; adept at translating business needs and technical concepts into actionable requirements.
• Experience in collaborating across Sales, Product, Marketing, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success teams.
• Familiarity with a free Cribl sandbox.
• Self-motivated with a strategic approach, keen attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
