Product Owner – Intellectual Property

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist the Product Director and the team in the delivery and upkeep of Global IP office search systems utilizing Clarivate technology.

• Engage with end users at government IP offices and law firms to gather and synthesize feedback into product roadmap priorities.

• Aid in maintaining system security certifications, such as FedRAMP and Soc2 Type 2.

• Support the sales and marketing teams through product demonstrations, addressing client inquiries, and drafting RFI/RFP documents.

• Help manage the product backlog and roadmap effectively.

• Collaborate with the Lead Product Manager, the Director of Product Management, and the global technical team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in product management/product ownership, business analysis, etc.

• US Citizenship is mandatory.

• Ability to successfully complete a US Government e-QIP is required.

• Previous work experience or education in the intellectual property field is preferred.

• Proficiency in product development and business analysis tools such as Jira, Power BI, Postman, Pendo, and/or Elasticsearch is necessary.

• Knowledge of security frameworks for cloud service solutions including FedRAMP, Soc2, CSA Star, etc., is advantageous.

• Experience using mockup tools like Figma is beneficial.

• Understanding of government procurement processes with a proven success in drafting effective RFI/RFPs is essential.

• Fluency in a language besides English to cater to a global client base is a plus.
