Staff Product Engineer, Frontend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Spearhead significant frontend initiatives throughout the organization

• Oversee contributions to Moxie's design system, frontend toolchain, and continuous integration

• Assist in reimagining and redesigning frontend architecture, tools, and the software development lifecycle for the agentic era

• Collaborate with the Financial Operations team while actively participating in product delivery

• Deliver enhancements to the FinOps UI that boost performance, consistency, and developer experience

• Streamline frequently forked UI patterns and refactor inefficient queries

• Create technical proposals and guide them through the processes of review, approval, and implementation

• Take ownership of organization-wide technical initiatives that yield measurable improvements in quality or speed

• Partner with Design, Product, engineering managers, and senior engineers

• Mentor and elevate engineers through reviews and collaborative coding

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in building a design system or leading a significant React and GraphQL migration

• Familiarity with design tokens, theming, component API design, and the promotion of canonical components

• Evidence of design system adoption or migrations by teams

• Extensive understanding of GraphQL client caching and fragment colocation

• Experience in transitioning complex routes to a primary query with fragments owned by components

• A history of leading adoption efforts without formal authority through pilots, migration guides, and documentation

• Practical experience in product delivery within large codebases

• Proven record of enhancing CI time, type-checking, or page performance with quantifiable results

• Knowledge of installation, caching, and performance at build time

• Daily familiarity with AI tools and insights on how to enhance the software development lifecycle using AI

• Technical leadership with clear communication of trade-offs, status updates, code reviews, and collaborative work

• Experience with Next.js, MUI, Apollo, GraphQL, GraphQL codegen, and Storybook
